Job Title: Care Assistant Days
Hours: 1 Part Time & 1 Full Time Permanent Contract (7.30am-7.30pm, alternate 2-3 shifts per week (PT) & alternate 3-4 shifts per week (FT)).
Location: Avenue House Nursing and Care Home, Rushden, NN10 0SN
Salary: £13.31ph / £12.31ph for 18-21 year olds

About the Home
Avenue House is located just outside Rushden. The home provides personal, nursing and dementia care for 48 residents.
Responsibilities
* Provide the highest level of care, supporting residents with daily activities such as washing, dressing and eating.
* Promote resident independence focusing on choice, dignity and respect, and support their physical and emotional wellbeing.
* Complete Daily Charts to a high standard, achieving 90%+ during monthly audits.
* Maintain up‑to‑date mandatory training throughout the year.
Requirements
* Clear motivations and/or relevant experience.
* Residing within 20 minutes of the care home.
* Ability to work under pressure.
* Strong written and oral communication skills.
* A caring and nurturing attitude.
* A positive and enthusiastic mindset.
* Good time‑management and organisational skills.
