Job Title: Principal Engineer – Test Integration
\n
Location: Barrow-in-Furness. On-Site
\n
Salary: Up to £57,000 depending on experience
\n
What you’ll be doing:
\n
\n
1. Utilising technical information gathered from various stakeholders such as design teams to produce test documentation that will evaluate the rigour of the systems under test.
\n
2. Understanding and interpreting the customer needs for integration activities and affect these once agreed as deliverables
\n
3. Undertaking integration testing in line with approved test procedures and taking ownership and responsibility for assigned systems verification and validation activities
\n
4. Investigating complex technical faults and queries of the (to be) integrated systems based on a considerable understanding of the underlying technical design
\n
5. Being able to gain an ample understanding of the underlying technical design of the systems under test and act as a technical liaison between design and commissioning teams on test related topics
\n
6. Compiling and communicating test/fault/investigation evidence and reports in verbal, informal and formal written mediums
\n
7. Developing test strategies and procedures in collaboration with Systems design teams
