About The Role
As a freelance language interpreter, you would be providing face‑to‑face interpreting services to a wide variety of clients such as the NHS and Social Services who work with speakers of limited English on a regular basis.
Your Main Responsibilities
* Interpret conversations between two or more speakers face‑to‑face.
* Work within a variety of sectors ranging from healthcare to government.
* Conduct yourself in a professional manner and provide accurate, unbiased interpretations whilst always adhering to our Interpreter’s Code of Conduct.
* Be able to deal with unexpected situations in a professional, calm and collected manner.
