Role Overview
The Head of HR will be responsible for leading the HR function, ensuring the development and implementation of HR strategies that support the company's vision and values. This role is critical in fostering a positive workplace culture and engagement, driving talent management, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with the company’s objectives creating improvements across the HR function and employee lifecycle.
* Oversee all HR operations, ensuring efficient processes and adherence to best practices.
* Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement and promote a culture of diversity and inclusion.
* Provide strategic leadership and guidance to the HR team, fostering professional growth and development.
* Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders on all HR-related matters.
* Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, managing risk and implementing policies as required.
* Drive continuous improvement in HR services through data analysis and feedback.
* Manage HR budgets and ensure cost-effective HR operations, achieving maximum benefit.
* Collaborate with the international HR team, sharing best practice and supporting global initiatives.
* Support and develop the company’s journey in relation to the Building Safety Act (BSA) changes. Delivering strategies to improve, monitor and demonstrate competence within the business.
Qualifications and Skills
* CIPD Level 7 or MCIPD (or equivalent).
* Extensive experience in a senior HR role with a proven track record of strategic leadership.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
* Strong understanding of employment legislation and HR best practices.
* Experience in change management and driving employee engagement.
* Proficiency in HRIS, reporting tools and other relevant HR software.
* Strong knowledge and working experience within the construction sector.
