We are seeking motivated, qualified dietitians to join our team in a permanent Band 5 position at Torbay Hospital. Whether you are a newly qualified dietitian or have Band 5 experience, this role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in a supportive environment.
The role involves managing a caseload of patients across various specialties including acute medical, surgical, orthopaedic, and care for older persons. You will be supported by experienced colleagues and have opportunities to explore specialist areas, deliver nutritional training, and participate in quality improvement programs.

Key Responsibilities
* Assess and treat patients on wards and in outpatient clinics, maintaining accurate records.
* Contribute to staff training on nutritional screening and use of special diets.
* Supervise student dietitians and support service development.

The acute dietetic team at Torbay Hospital comprises over 40 staff members, covering various specialties including ICU, gastroenterology, and cancer services. The team is friendly, proactive, and committed to professional growth, with training opportunities including placements for students from the University of Plymouth.
