Job Description
The Legal Counsel will be:
3. Advising on a broad range of commercial contracts, construction and procurement matters
4. Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements
5. Supporting project teams with legal advice across complex, long-term programmes
6. Working closely with internal stakeholders to manage legal risk and compliance
7. Developing commercial and legal expertise through exposure to varied workstreams
The Successful Applicant
The Legal Counsel should be:
8. A solicitor with experience in commercial or public sector work
9. Comfortable drafting and negotiating commercial contracts
10. Keen to learn, develop and progress within an in-house legal environment
11. Able to provide clear, pragmatic advice to non-legal stakeholders
12. Organised, proactive and collaborative in approach
