Key Responsibilities
As the Sous Chef in this client kitchen, you’ll:
7. Lead and manage kitchen staff across shifts
8. Supervise and coordinate day-to-day kitchen operations
9. Assist in food preparation, cooking, and plating
10. Maintain quality control and consistency of all dishes
11. Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
12. Train and mentor members of the kitchen team
What we’re looking for
The ideal candidate will have:
13. Proven experience in a professional kitchen, ideally in a supervisory role
14. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team
15. Excellent knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation, and plating standards
16. Commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety
17. Strong organisational and time-management skills
18. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
19. Ability to work under pressure during busy service periods
