Key Stage 2 (KS2) Teacher Sheffield, S36 £178.00 to £233.00 per day Start date: 13th October 2025 Contract type: Temp - Maternity cover until July 2026 Working hours: Monday – Friday, term time only Unique School Solutions are supporting a small, rural primary school in the S36 area of Sheffield, who are needing a Key Stage 2 teacher to cover a maternity leave until the end of the academic year. The role will be working with a mixed Y5/6 class, splitting your time between teaching a smaller, targeted group in the morning and then full class in the afternoon. You will be expected to mark, deliver and assess schemes of work as well as participate in full teacher duties such as parents evenings, school trips etc. The role is to start in October 2025 for the rest of the academic year. About the school: * Small, rural, one-form entry primary school * Close links with the local community * Supportive and well organised leadership team Essential requirements for the role: * Previous experience working within a school within the last 2 years * Strong upper Key Stage 2 curriculum knowledge, preferably Year 6 * PGCE (Primary) and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) * The ability to build rapport with young learners * The ability to work alongside Senior Leadership Team, other teachers and support staff * Experience with Phonics is advantageous.
