Teaching Personnel is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Design & Technology Teacher for a full-time position in Northampton and the surrounding areas, starting immediately.
This is an exciting opportunity to join supportive secondary schools committed to delivering high-quality education and fostering creativity, innovation, and practical skills in students.
The Role:
* Deliver engaging DT lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
* Specialisms in Product Design, Resistant Materials, Graphics, Engineering or Food Technology welcomed
* Plan, prepare and assess students’ work in line with national curriculum standards
* Maintain a safe and stimulating workshop/classroom environment
* Contribute positively to the wider school community
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience teaching DT at secondary level
* Strong classroom management skills
* A passion for practical learning and student development
* An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
