Responsibilities
* Design, edit, and implement sound effects across a variety of in-game contexts — environments, UI, characters, and interactions.
* Collaborate with designers, artists, and engineers to ensure audio complements gameplay and visuals.
* Participate in audio reviews, playtests, and feedback sessions.
* Support field recording sessions and contribute to our internal sound library.
* Mix linear media (e.g., trailers, cinematics), using sound design techniques to support existing dialogue and music for a compelling mix.
* Learn and utilise Wwise integration, scripting tools, and game engine workflows.
Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience
* Organised, self-motivated, and communicative — we work together to make great things.
* A love for sound in games — you notice the little details and think about how audio shapes experience.
* An understanding of how sound works — including concepts like frequency, dynamics, spatialisation, and how they impact perception.
* Open to feedback, keen to learn, and excited to develop as part of a team.
* Proficiency with a DAW (e.g., Reaper, Audition, Pro Tools, Nuendo) and audio plugins.
* Knowledge of real-time audio implementation tools (e.g., Wwise and FMOD), game engines, and version control software.
Desirable Skills and Experience
* Experience using Wwise and integrating audio into a game engine.
* Field recording or Foley experience.
* An appreciation for expressive and characterful soundscapes.
