Wincanton are looking for 2 x Class 2 Drivers who have a passion for customer service to join our team in Doncaster carrying out home deliveries for our B&Q contract.
You will be delivering various B&Q products to customer homes as part of a two-person crew.
You will be working a fixed working week - Tuesday to Saturday, start times vary between 06:00 and 07:00.
There is opportunity to become a Driver Assessor and earn a premium on top of annual salary.

How will you contribute:
1. Responsible for the accurate, timely movement and delivery of our customers’ products.
2. Adhering to safe working practices to ensure the safety of yourself and others at all times.
3. Provide excellent customer service at all times and to take ownership of customer issues on delivery.
4. Carry out multi-drop deliveries within the delivery window in a safe manner.
5. Be aware of the vehicle defects and bring to the attention of Transport Office, as necessary.
6. Attend essential training in order to carry out the Driver role.
7. Ensure compliance with Tachograph and Road Transport Directive Legislation
8. Ensuring the internal and external cleanliness of the vehicle is maintained at all times.
What we need from you:
9. Must not have more than 6 points on licence.
10. You must hold a valid Class 2 licence and a valid Digital Tachograph Card.
11. You must hold a valid Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC). We will pay for your ongoing CPC training.
12. Enthusiastic and reliable with a commitment to delivering 1st class customer service.
13. Good timekeeper and able to work unsupervised.
14. Must have good communication skills and a flexible can-do attitude to work.
15. Must have a good geographical knowledge.
16. A DBS check will be undertaken upon employment
