Designed for scalability, Interu supports growing supply chains and organizations, with flexibility to onboard other industries and products seamlessly.
Key Responsibilities
As part of our small, Europe-based team, we value kindness, curiosity, and collaboration. We encourage engineers to explore and own their problems, rather than just producing adequate code. In this role, you will lead efforts to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of Interu, leveraging your expertise in automation frameworks, manual testing, and API/frontend testing to build robust processes and support team members. A focus on continuous improvement, multi-browser testing, and agile methodologies is essential.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and maintain test automation frameworks using tools such as Cypress, Selenium, and Katalon to optimize testing processes.
2. Conduct manual testing for exploratory and edge-case scenarios.
3. Create and execute comprehensive API and frontend tests for web applications.
4. Perform multi-browser testing to ensure compatibility across all browsers.
5. Participate actively in agile development processes.
6. Improve scripts continuously to enhance reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
7. Support QA team members, providing guidance on testing, automation, and best practices.
8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
9. Identify, document, and track defects and areas for improvement proactively.
10. Stay current with emerging QA tools, technologies, and trends to bring innovative solutions to the team.
About You
1. 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a strong focus on automation and manual testing, including proficiency in cross-browser testing, UI, and functional testing.
2. Hands-on expertise with automation frameworks/tools and API testing tools such as Cypress, Selenium, Postman, and Katalon.
3. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating tests into automated build processes.
4. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
5. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
6. Solid understanding of SDLC and QA best practices.
7. Basic programming skills (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Java) for customizing and debugging test scripts.
8. Based in the UK or Austria.
