My client is a well-established Building Services Consultancy with a strong focus on sustainable design and energy efficiency that are seeking an experienced Intermediate Level IES Modeller to join their team in the South East/Kent region. This consultancy delivers a diverse range of M&E and building performance projects across the UK, collaborating closely with architects and clients to optimise building performance, energy use, and occupant comfort.

Day-to-Day
Running thermal and energy models to assess building performance.
Preparing reports and documentation for Part L compliance and energy strategies.
Attending project meetings with architects, engineers, and clients to provide insights on energy efficiency and sustainability.
Reviewing project designs and providing recommendations to improve energy performance.
Staying updated on industry standards and regulations related to building performance and sustainability.
Responsibilities
Conducting dynamic thermal modelling using IES VE software.
Supporting Part L compliance, overheating analysis, and energy strategy development.
Collaborating with design teams to influence and optimise building performance.
Providing technical input on sustainability and low-carbon design principles.
Working on a variety of projects across multiple sectors, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
Qualifications
Proven experience using IES VE for building performance modelling.
Strong understanding of Part L, SBEM, and thermal modelling principles.
A passion for sustainability and low-carbon design.
The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
