Paraplanner - Shoreham-by-Sea
Our client based in Shoreham-by-Sea is seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join their team. This is an office-based role offering a competitive salary. The successful candidate will work alongside and provide knowledgeable and technical support to Advisers to ensure the proper end-to-end management of clients.
Responsibilities
1. Possess technical knowledge of products, procedures, and law. Ability to work with defined business processes.
2. Participate in weekly meetings to organize and prioritize workload. Conduct regular touchpoints to ensure activities and deliverables are completed on time.
3. Serve as a key contact for clients; handle correspondence via telephone, email, or letter, and attend client meetings.
4. Assist Advisers in generating client reports (suitability, annual review, meeting notes, portfolio reports) using Intelligent Office and standard templates; produce or update technical reports as needed.
5. Support Advisers in using tools for client identification, such as cashflow analysis, risk reports, and investment analysis.
6. Conduct research to support advice from Advisers, including analysis, technical product research, and producing illustrations.
7. Support High Net Worth (HNW) clients as required.
8. Assist administrators with group corporate pensions and benefits.
9. Act as the main contact between Providers and Advisers for investment and policy transfers, setup, and administration. Handle correspondence, applications, transactions, and issue resolution, keeping clients informed.
10. Ensure client fees and commissions are correctly set up and maintained in the system.
11. Support accurate monthly payments to Advisers and provide data for FCA RMAR reports.
12. Perform ad-hoc paraplanning tasks as needed.
13. Coordinate with Compliance Teams and complete remedial work to facilitate business processes.
14. Support the Head of Support Services in organizational projects and initiatives.
