A rare opportunity has opened up within a unique engineering environment. Nestled on the edge of the stunning Eryri National Park, this is not your average welding gig. 2. Using MIG, TIG, and ARC welding techniques, along with plasma and gas cutting tools
3. Interpreting and working from technical drawings, sketches, and verbal instructions
4. Fabricating metal components to precise specifications and tight tolerances
5. Applying your problem-solving skills and hands-on experience to produce high-quality, durable results
6. Contributing to both restoration and new-build projects in a dynamic workshop environment
7. Maintaining a strong focus on quality, safety, and continuous improvement
We are keen to hear from you if you have the following:
8. NVQ Level 2 or above in Fabrication & Welding (or equivalent)
9. Skilled in MIG, TIG and ARC welding (plasma and oxy cutting = bonus!)
10. Confident reading and working from drawings or verbal instructions
11. Experience manufacturing to tight tolerances
12. Self-motivated, organised, and a great communicator
13. Basic IT skills
14. Welsh language skills are desirable but not essential
This is a full time permanent position working 40 hours per week (with the occasional weekend), easily commutable from Bangor, Caernarfon, and Porthmadog. In return you will receive a competitive salary of up to £27,560 per annum depending on experience, plus a range of company benefits.
This is a brilliant opportunity to put your metalwork and fabrication skills to use in a role that blends hands-on engineering with unique, one-of-a-kind projects. Whether you're based in North Wales or looking for a fresh start somewhere full of natural beauty, craft, and character — we want to hear from you.
