Nursery Assistant
We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a highly customer focused individual that enjoys working outdoors and has a genuine interest in plants. The right applicant will have a can-do attitude and is looking for a new challenge and personal growth. Any horticultural qualifications would be desirable but not essential.
The Nursery Assistants are responsible for the day to day work in the retail areas as well as delivering high standards of customer service. You will work as part of the team to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
Main duties may include:
* Assisting customers and maintaining a high standard of customer service at all times, which includes answering questions and enquiries.
* Replenishing stock as necessary.
* Maintaining plants and other products and ensuring good rotation.
* Operating the tills.
* Helping out with deliveries of goods in.
* Becoming competent with our in-house stock system for labelling, plant look up etc.
We are a family business giving the 'personal touch' and dealing with customer's needs on an individual basis, trying to achieve a quality experience for all.
Normal hours 8am-5pm (5 days per week)- this will involve weekend working as we are open 7 days.

Starting rate £13.00/ over age 21.
