Overview
Europa Worldwide Group is an ambitious independent logistics operator with three divisions: Europa Road, Europa Air & Sea, and Europa Warehouse. The group has been featured in The Sunday Times Top Track 250 for three years, with 15 UK & Ireland sales offices and international sites including Hong Kong, China, India and Dubai.
We currently have a national Road Account Manager sales team which we’re expanding. This is a fantastic opportunity for a sales-driven and entrepreneurial individual to build their own portfolio and eventually develop into a Senior Road Account Manager.
Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain your customer base within your allocated area/location.
* Source sales leads using the company’s in-house CMS or other sources of information.
* Make outbound telesales calls to profile and qualify prospects, using knowledge of the Europa product portfolio.
* Visit potential customers and prepare quotations for presentation to the customer.
* For the first 12 months, manage the accounts in your business base by maintaining and developing business within that client base, with the aim of becoming the sole supplier.
* Make regular proactive contact with customers to ensure needs are met and to develop further business opportunities within the account.
* After 12 months, focus on selling within existing customers and closing new customers to hand over to a customer service team.

What you will bring to the role
* A strong, confident, and resilient personality
* MUST HAVE a full UK driving license
* Field sales freight experience desired but not essential
* Passionate about sales and customer service
* The ability to work well and thrive under pressure in a targeted environment
* Fantastic communication skills both written and verbal
* Be eager to learn, develop and excel in your career within sales
