GSL Education are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive school in Alford. You will work with experienced teachers and help children learn, grow, and do their best every day. Key Responsibilities: Help students in and out of the classroom so they can learn and reach their goals. Work with the class teacher to get lessons ready and support children in small groups or one-to-one. Encourage good behaviour and positive friendships in the classroom. Keep an eye on how students are doing and share feedback with the teacher. Make sure the classroom is a safe, welcoming, and supportive place for everyone. Requirements: Some experience working with children in a school, nursery, or similar setting. A patient, caring, and flexible attitude when helping young learners. Good communication skills and happy to work as part of a team. A real interest in helping children learn and grow. Have an enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education. Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps).
