* Travel and overnight stays may be required to meet project needs.

Experience / Skills Required

* Minimum 5 years of working experience in the slaughterhouse or animal‑by‑products sector.
* Solid understanding of UK and EU environmental legislation, particularly the IED and Environmental Permitting Regulations.
* Effective verbal and written communication skills.

* Experience dealing with the implications of BAT conclusions on permits, industry and the environment.
* Strong relationship‑building and networking abilities.
* Planning, prioritising and organising tasks to achieve timely results.
* Adaptability to challenges and consensus‑building.
* Commitment to diversity and inclusion, and encouragement of others to consider diversity issues.

We offer a range of development opportunities and appropriate training.
