What You Will Do:
- Analyse and manage purchase orders through an MRP system, including order placement, supplier expediting, and performance evaluation. - Negotiate and implement cost-saving strategies while maintaining quality and delivery standards. - Analyse inventory levels and manage stock parameters to meet company targets. - Collaborate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and maintain optimal inventory levels. - Provide regular reports and updates to the management team, contributing to strategic decision-making.
What You Will Bring:
- A minimum of two years' supply chain experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment. - Proficiency in Excel and ideally an MRP system, as well as strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including V-lookups and pivot tables. - Exceptional organisational skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to analyse data effectively. - A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving and teamwork. - Experience in planning, stock control, and inventory analysis is highly desirable.
