You will also have access to our Research and Development Academy, designed to develop our team and allow you to grow in our great organisation.About the roleJob title: Analytical AssociateLocation: HullCompetitive Salary & Benefits, 25 days annual leave, bonus, Private HealthcareClosing Date: 21st January 2025Accountable and responsible for the day-to-day execution of analytical and support related tasks relating to the Nurofen category team workload or Analytical laboratory, as defined by the Nurofen / Pain team Associate/Senior Associate or Analytical Laboratory Manager/Deputy. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that they deliver their output effectively and efficiently in compliance with current Good Laboratory practice thereby providing continuous support to project requirements within the Reckitt business.The successful candidate is able to demonstrate clear and timely progress towards being able to effectively & efficiently perform routine day to day tasks under minimal supervision and understands their accountability for the quality of work delivered. The successful candidate will demonstrate that they meet or exceed the criteria for the role as defined & documented.Your responsibilitiesPrioritise and organise own workload to meet project and stakeholder requirements.Develop, implement, and track personal development plans.Accurately record data in compliance with GMP and GLP standards.Maintain high standards of housekeeping in all work areas.Follow Health & Safety procedures and ensure safe practices.Ensure compliance with training requirements and maintain audit readiness.Deliver activities in line with cGMP and support continuous improvement of quality systems.Apply and maintain cGMP processes as delegated by management.Identify and escalate improvement opportunities within the section.Support regulatory inspections and audits as required.Align individual tasks with wider Pain team and laboratory objectives.Achieve assigned KPIs and escalate equipment/system issues promptly.Communicate effectively to resolve issues while maintaining a positive team image.Analyse and interpret statistical data (e.g., shelf-life prediction, DOE).Manage third-party analytical activities with suppliers and project managers.The experience we're looking forDegree level qualification and / or relevant and appropriate demonstrable skills & experience.Excellent delivery of core skills.Demonstrable or transferable skills relevant to the delivery of category project activities.Demonstrable skills in working within a multi-level team environment.Previous working laboratory experience such as HPLC, Dissolution and other wet chemistry techniques are desirable.Ability to work on own initiative and within a team of people.Experience of GMP/ISO9001 in FMCG/Healthcare/chemical environmentAdherence to COSHH/Health and Safety at Work act, directly and indirectly through team.Good communication skills with the ability to present information in a clear and concise manner.High level of accuracy in working practices with close attention to detail.The business language in Reckitt is English, therefore fluency in English is essential and fluency in local languages advantageous.Proactive attitude with ability to take measured risks, dependant on circumstance.In line with Reckitt core values, the candidate will be achievement focussed and able to work in a direct and often pressurised environment.
