Financial Accountant | Manchester City Centre | Hybrid 2 days in the office | £55,000
I am delighted to be partnering with a highly respected, people centric organisation to recruit a Financial Accountant. This role will play a key part in delivering high quality financial reporting, robust governance and reliable statutory accounts for a large, complex organisation based in the heart of Manchester.
The Role
You will be responsible for:
* Maintaining accurate financial records and producing statutory financial statements
* Providing technical accounting guidance and ensuring compliance with current standards
* Supporting external audit activity and high-quality external reporting
* Working collaboratively across Finance teams and with external partners
* Accurate reporting and strong governance needed to support major investment
What You'll Bring
* Fully ACA/ ACCA Qualified
* Strong technical accounting skills and up-to-date knowledge of relevant standards
* Accuracy and attention to detail in preparing statements and working papers
* Experience of working with auditors or financial institutions
