The role
Uppingham School is seeking ambitious and driven Graduate Sports Performance Coaches to join our high-performing Sports Department across:

As a Graduate Sports Performance Coach, you will lead and deliver sport-specific coaching across multiple age groups, contribute to scholar and high-performance programmes, and play a key role in matchday planning, player development and programme organisation. You will work closely with experienced Directors of Sport and Heads of Sport, contributing to an environment that combines high standards, player welfare and performance ambition, while also being fully involved in the wider life of a busy boarding school community.
About you
Educated to degree level (or equivalent), you will hold a recognised coaching qualification in your specialist sport. You will have experience of coaching and leading young people, ideally with exposure to club, pathway or performance environments, and be confident in designing engaging, purposeful training sessions that support technical, tactical and mental development. Organised, articulate and committed to high standards, you are motivated to build a long-term career in performance sport or education and are excited by the opportunity to take genuine responsibility within a structured and ambitious sporting programme.
