Our client is looking to recruit an established HR Advisor, specialising in Employment Law, for their advice line service, providing employment law and HR advice to clients. You will be part of the operations team in this varied role as a HR advisor. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR Advisor with experience advising managers and senior stakeholders on employment law and HR processes. Ideally, you will have experience working in a HR advisory or multi-site/regional capacity.
Responsibilities:
1. Act as the first point of contact for clients, providing telephone and email advice on employment matters, ensuring advice aligns with best practices and offers practical solutions, explaining risks and liabilities.
2. Advise clients on complex employment law and HR issues, including redundancies, disciplinary actions, grievances, TUPE, absence management, and settlement agreements.
3. Collaborate with the wider consultancy, advice line, and business development teams to deliver consistent and practical support to clients, especially on complex issues.
4. Manage a small client portfolio within agreed service levels.
5. Undertake ad-hoc consultancy projects; some travel to client sites may be required.
6. Draft articles for publication on our website and social media platforms.
7. Support out-of-hours services, providing 24/7 telephone coverage on a rota basis.
Candidate Profile:

* Technical expertise in employment law and HR, with the ability to provide pragmatic, customer-focused advice while maintaining confidentiality.
* Ability to interpret information clearly and demonstrate commercial awareness.
* Excellent communication skills, tact, diplomacy, and a positive attitude.
* Integrity, professionalism, self-motivation, and initiative.
* Ability to prioritize and work under tight deadlines.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Level 5 qualification or working towards it (desirable).
* Generalist HR experience handling complex ER and HR cases.
* Experience drafting and advising on HR policies and procedures, with up-to-date employment law knowledge.
* Experience working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
* Strong organizational and workload management skills.
* Teamwork and autonomous working capabilities.
* Proficiency in Windows applications (Word, Outlook, Excel).
* Driving license and own vehicle (desirable, as travel may be required).
