Job Title: Weekend Laser Operator
Contract Type: Temp to Perm
Working Pattern: Part Time (Saturday & Sunday, 12-hour shifts)
Location: Gillingham
Pay Rate: £14.17 per hour

Responsibilities
* Operate Fibre Laser Cutting Machines with precision and care.
* Program, set, and complete quality checks on all laser cutting tasks.
* Assemble fabricated parts using hand tools for in-line duct-mounted equipment.
* Read and follow technical drawings and work instructions accurately.
* Maintain high standards of safety and quality at all times.
* Work closely with the Manufacturing Supervisor and Team Leader to support continuous improvement across production.
About You
* Essential:
o Experience in laser cutting (experience with Bodor or Bystronic equipment an advantage).
o Confident reading and interpreting technical drawings.
o Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
o Able to work independently and as part of a team.
o Strong awareness of health & safety practices.
* Desirable:
o Forklift Truck licence (required).
o Experience in fabrication or workshop environments.
o Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles (training can be provided).
