What we need We are looking for enthusiastic, hardworking individuals to join our bank of casual staff to help support with pupils’ needs throughout their school day. Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Education Needs, do you seek flexible work that truly matters and help shape our learners’ future, The main duties of the role are:- • Working as part of a team with the flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students. • Patience, empathy, and resilience in working with students who may have challenging behaviours or specific learning difficulties. • To provide personal care for learners, including, changing, toileting, showering, washing, dressing and undressing, care of clothes, personal hygiene where required. Communicate inter-actively, make drinks, feed, supervise learners at appropriate times throughout the day. • To support access to learning by undertaking a range of practical duties within the class room including physical care of pupil(s) as appropriate. • To support pupils learning as directed by the class teacher • Assist with preparation of learning materials and resources, participate in record keeping and provide feedback about learning activities.
