We are seeking an inspirational Lecturer/Instructor Demonstrator for our Hairdressing department. This role begins in September 2025 and involves a split role: 20.35hrs as Lecturer and 11.1hrs as Instructor/Demonstrator.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lecturing on various Hairdressing courses.
2. Providing tutorial support and handling administrative tasks.
3. Developing learners’ practical skills through demonstrations and instruction.
4. Assessing learners against relevant frameworks.
5. Promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young persons.
6. Maintaining accurate records of learners’ progress.
Person Specification:
1. Teacher trained (PGCE, DTLLS, CertEd) or willing to work towards.
2. Assessor Award (TAQA/A1) or equivalent.
3. Level 3 qualification in Hairdressing.
4. GCSE Grade C (4/5) in English and Maths.
5. Understanding of equality, diversity, and inclusion.
6. Up-to-date occupational experience.
7. Enhanced DBS check.
