Job Overview
We are seeking caring and committed Health Care Assistants to join our team. As a Health Care Assistant, you will deliver high-quality, person-centred support to elderly clients, helping them maintain independence and improve their quality of life at home.
Responsibilities
* Provide personal care, including washing, dressing, toileting, and grooming.
* Support with mobility, transfers, and the use of mobility aids.
* Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and ensuring clients maintain good nutrition and hydration.
* Prompt and administer medication in line with company policy and training.
* Offer companionship and emotional support, fostering positive relationships with clients.
* Carry out light domestic tasks, such as laundry, cleaning, and shopping.
* Monitor and report any changes in clients' health or wellbeing to senior staff.
* Maintain accurate and timely records of care provided.
* Respect clients' dignity, privacy, and independence at all times.
Requirements
* Previous experience in care is desirable but not essential – full training will be provided.
* A genuine passion for supporting elderly individuals.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Reliability, patience, and a caring attitude.
* A full UK driving licence and access to a car are essential for this role.
* This role is subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS clearance.
