In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring the production of high-quality components while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Your Responsibilities:
* Set up, operate, and maintain punch press machines to produce high-precision components.
* Ensure all equipment operates efficiently, making adjustments as necessary to maintain optimal performance.
* Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards, taking corrective action when needed.
* Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
* Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical issues with press machines.
* Perform routine maintenance on press machines and report any major malfunctions to the maintenance team.
* Adhere to production schedules and meet daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
* Collaborate with the team to improve production processes and efficiency.
* Maintain accurate production logs and documentation.
What We’re Looking For:
* High school diploma or equivalent (technical training or certification preferred).
* Minimum of 2 years of experience operating punch press machines in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
* Strong knowledge of press machine operation, maintenance, and safety protocols.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
* Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
* Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
