About the Role
Trigon Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a leading organisation delivering employability programmes across the UK. This is an exciting opportunity to join a purpose-driven organisation committed to creating positive social and economic impact through employment support services.
You will be working on the Restart Programme, which supports Universal Credit claimants who have been out of work for at least 6 months. The programme provides up to 12 months of tailored support to help individuals move into sustainable employment.
As an Employment Advisor, you will manage a caseload of participants, supporting them on their journey into work. You'll play a key role in motivating, guiding, and empowering individuals to overcome barriers and achieve their employment goals.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a caseload of customers, supporting them through to sustained employment
Assess individual needs and develop tailored action plans
Build strong, positive relationships with participants to support engagement and progress
Provide coaching, advice, and constructive challenge to develop employability skills
Identify suitable job opportunities, training, and development pathways
Work collaboratively with internal teams to meet customer and employer needs
Maintain accurate and compliant records of customer interactions and progress
Signpost customers to appropriate local support services (e.g. housing, health, benefits)
Meet performance targets, KPIs, and compliance requirements
Develop relationships with employers, Jobcentre Plus, and other stakeholders
Skills & Experience
Essential:
Passion for supporting people and making a positive impact
Experience in a customer-focused, target-driven environment
Experience providing one-to-one support, coaching, or mentoring
Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
Strong organisational and administrative skills
Interest in welfare-to-work or employability services
Desirable:
Degree-level education or equivalent experience
Background in sales, recruitment, customer service, or case management
Knowledge of the local labour market
