We are looking to recruit a Service Development Officer to join our Housing Support Service on a fixed-term, full-time basis.
About the role
You will work as part of the Housing Support Service to provide support to the Senior Officer to enable the commissioning of the full range of Housing Support Services and to support the ongoing development of Housing Support services, ensuring alignment with the Through Age Wellbeing model.
On a day-to-day basis, you will:
* Provide monitoring and control services and generate reports to ensure information is effectively analysed, communicated, escalated, and mitigated to minimise potential impacts.
* Challenge service providers and project leads regarding reporting and escalate as appropriate.
* Ensure service specifications for commissioning are sharply focused and actively manage essential communications with key stakeholders.
* Assist providers and service leads in developing innovative solutions, service specifications, tender documentation, and collate information as necessary.
We are looking for an individual who is/can:
* Experienced in project or contract delivery or within a similar environment.
* Capable of monitoring programmes and projects in areas such as planning, risks, issues, finance, resources, assumptions, and dependencies.
* Skilled in using data to develop new ideas for service development.
