Job Summary
Seeking a Production Associate to support operations in a seafood processing facility. This role involves assisting with packaging, material movement, and general production tasks in a cold environment.
Responsibilities
* Move carts between production and packing areas
* Pack fish fillets into branded boxes
* Assist machine operators and fish cutters with daily tasks
* Support general production and assembly activities
* Maintain cleanliness of staging and storage areas
* Remove empty boxes and waste to ensure a safe workspace
* Follow safety procedures and report incidents promptly
* Assist in other areas of the seafood processing room as needed
Required Skills
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
* Ability to stand for extended periods
* Comfortable working in cold environments (approx. 32°F)
* Team-oriented with strong attention to safety
* Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks independently
Preferred Skills
* 0–3 years of production or manufacturing experience
Tools/Environment
* Seafood processing facility (cold storage environment)
* Use of industrial equipment (training/certification required)
* PPE required: steel toe shoes/boots
* Work attire: layered clothing suitable for cold conditions
