Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to patients in a care home or home care setting, assisting with daily living activities and ensuring their comfort and well-being. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, the ability to follow care plans, and a commitment to delivering high-quality care. (Full Uk driving Licence Required)
Responsibilities
* Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
* Support the implementation of individual care plans tailored to each patient's needs.
* Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
* Monitor and report any changes in patients' conditions or behaviours to the nursing staff.
* Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to hygiene standards.
* Drive patients to appointments or activities as required, ensuring their safety during transport.
* Utilise IT systems for documentation and communication purposes.
Experience
* Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential.
* Familiarity with care plans and the ability to follow them accurately.
* Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* A valid driving licence is advantageous for transporting patients.
* A compassionate attitude towards caring for others is essential.
