About the Role
As our Year 2 Class Teacher, you will play a crucial role in supporting pupils as they complete Key Stage 1 and prepare to transition into Key Stage 2. You will be responsible for delivering well-structured lessons, assessing progress accurately, and creating a stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and resilience.
You will work closely with other staff members, support staff, and families to ensure the best outcomes for each child. Whether you’re an experienced teacher or at the beginning of your teaching journey, we want to hear from you if you’re committed to delivering high-quality, inclusive teaching.

What We’re Looking For

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

A thorough understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum and pedagogy

Experience teaching in Year 2 or a strong interest in this stage of learning
*
Strong classroom management and high expectations for pupil behaviour and progress
*
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

A reflective, enthusiastic approach to teaching and professional development

A commitment to safeguarding and supporting all children
