Freightserve recruitment are looking for an Import Air Operator for a well-established Freight Forwarder based in the Heathrow area.
Duties:-
* Prepare and process all necessary documentation for importing goods via Airfreight.
* Completing all Airfreight Import CDS customs entries
* Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and customers regarding imported shipments, providing them with shipment status updates, addressing enquiries and concerns and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
* Monitor the movement of imported freight from the point of origin to its final destination, tracking shipment statuses and providing regular updates to clients and stakeholders.
* Liaising with overseas office / agents
Experience Required:-
* Start-to finish Import experience with knowledge of import documentation and procedures
* Excellent Communication and customer service skills - you will be required to communicate with clients and suppliers over email and telephone
* Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
* Strong problem-solving skills
* Capability to work independently and as part of a team
Working hours are Monday - Friday 9-5.30pm
