Job summary
The post holder is primarily responsible for reviewing emergency telephone calls prioritised through NHS Pathways.
Responsible for collating data for analysis to produce NHS Pathways quality assurance reports, helping to identify areas for training.
Responsible for quality assurance of all qualified NHS Pathways EOC staff by supporting safe and effective practice, ensuring standards for Trust accreditation are met, and maintaining high professionalism.
Successful applicants will be invited for interviews. As part of training, a mentorship period will be required.
Main duties of the job
We have an opportunity to join the Audit Team at East Midlands Ambulance Service, based at Nottingham Emergency Operations Centre. We are recruiting for:
1. 1 EOC Auditor (Non-Clinical) - full-time/37.5 hours per week
2. 1 EOC Auditor (Non-Clinical) - part-time/16 hours per week
The EOC Auditor supports the delivery of high-quality service by auditing calls retrospectively and live, based on NHS Pathways standards. The role involves providing feedback to aid colleagues' professional development. NHS Pathways certification and a proven 6-month track record in safe call triaging are required.
The role also involves supporting EOC by answering 999 calls as needed. The post is based at EOC Nottingham, with flexible rota options and discussions about unsocial hours at interview.

Person Specification
Experience
* Significant proven experience as NHS Pathways Emergency Medical Advisor
* Proven track record of compliant Pathway 999 call audits in the last 6 months
Desirable
* Experience supporting staff development
* Experience with audit processes
Personal Attributes
* Self-motivated and able to work independently
* Effective team player
Qualifications
* Minimum of 5 GCSEs or equivalent, including Maths and English
* NHS Pathways core module one and two
Desirable Qualifications
* NHSP Pathways Coaching Module
* Experience in mentoring roles
