Job Description
* Process and review daily banking transactions
* Perform monthly bank reconciliations
* Assist with monthly forecasting and variance analysis
* Prepare and post prepayments and accruals
* Prepare and submit VAT returns in line with HMRC requirements
* Perform intercompany reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
* Support internal and external audit processes
* Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and policies
* Use Oracle for financial processing and reporting
* Provide ad hoc financial analysis and support as required
The Successful Applicant
* Junior PQ or Part-qualified accountant or qualified by experience (AAT, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
* Previous experience in a similar financial or assistant accountant role
* Strong understanding of financial processes and month-end procedures
* Experienced working with Oracle.
* Excellent Excel skills and attention to detail
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
