Main Duties
We are looking for a Clinical Lead Nurse to join our Continence Service. The base can be flexible with the option for Maidstone, Ashford, Canterbury or Sevenoaks.
You will oversee and support the management of a complex clinical caseload of patients with specialist clinical services as an autonomous practitioner.
You'll work closely with the Operational Manager of Specialist Clinical services to lead in the strategic development and advancement of clinical practice in continence (Bladder & Bowel) and product delivery services.

Responsibilities
As a Clinical Lead Nurse you will:

Person Specification
Qualifications (Essential)
* Postgraduate education in specialist clinical area.
* First degree in professional nursing or therapy.
* Professional registration.
* Continuous professional development appropriate to the role.
Qualifications (Desirable)
* Non‑medical independent prescriber.
* Membership of an appropriate special interest group.
* Masters degree or willingness to work towards one.
* Accreditation for clinical education.
* Clinical supervisor.
Experience (Essential)
* Experience implementing change of clinical practice or process.
* Previous experience at Band 6/7.
* Experience supervising and appraising staff or students.
* Experience as a clinical educator or mentor.
* Experience leading teams in a senior position.
* Experience in audit participation.
* Experience in managing complaints.
* Knowledge of quality issues, clinical governance and outcome measures.
