The Role
You will provide high-quality, person-centred care to our residents, fostering a welcoming environment where residents are treated with respect and dignity, and staff feel valued and supported. As part of our frontline team, you will support day-to-day operations, assist with activities of daily living, and ensure the wellbeing and comfort of residents. You will also provide emotional support and companionship, encouraging meaningful relationships and advocating for the rights and preferences of our residents.
Main Responsibilities
* Assist residents with daily living activities, such as dressing, bathing, eating, and mobility.
* Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, helping them maintain a good quality of life.
* Help residents maintain independence where possible, encouraging involvement in activities.
* Assist with moving and handling residents using appropriate techniques and equipment.
* Support the nursing and healthcare team by monitoring residents' well-being and reporting any changes in their health or behaviour.
* Follow care plans tailored to individual residents' needs, ensuring their comfort and safety.
* Ensure a clean, safe, and homely environment for residents.

This is a Night duty role - 33 hours a week.

Required Criteria
* Right to work in the UK.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* A good standard of oral and written English.
* A non-judgemental approach to others.
* Excellent communication skills with the compassion required to deliver high-quality care to residents.
* Respectful to residents and to the values and beliefs of other team members.
Desired Criteria
* Educated to QCF/NVQ Level 2 is desirable, but not essential.
* Previous experience in Health and Social Care preferred, although not essential as full training will be provided.
