What you will do
You will play a pivotal role within the Machine Shop Team, helping to create equipment that improves the lives of people around the world.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
* Understand technical plans and be capable of working out measurements.
* Process and prepare raw steel for production on your assigned machine.
* Meet production targets while maximising efficiency.
* Ensure the safe and controlled movement of production parts, manually, via crane, or lifting equipment.
* Ensure Health & Safety is adhered to at all times, demonstrating our commitment to Zero Harm.
* Work as part of a team to develop continuous improvement.
* Operate a forklift or combi lift truck, pending training.
What you will bring
* Previous experience with hand plasma, CNC machinery, and stud welding.
* Use of CNC plasma is desirable.
* A proactive approach to problem solving.
* Proven organisational skills with the ability to plan, organise, and control daily workload.
* Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
* Ability to work under pressure and be dependable and reliable.
* Work independently with initiative.
