We are supporting a highly respected engineering manufacturer in the recruitment of an R&D Assembly Technician (Electrical Bias) to join its growing R&D team.The business designs and manufacturers advanced precision equipment used in demanding global markets, offering a technically challenging and rewarding environment.The Role Working as part of a skilled and collaborative team, you will assemble, test and calibrate complex products, supporting both prototype development and production transition.This is a varied, hands-on role with the opportunity to progress into engineering or operations-focused positions.Key Responsibilities Electrical and mechanical assembly using technical drawings and schematicsAssembly, testing and calibration of high-value, precision productsSupport prototype builds and new product introduction (NPI)Work closely with engineering teams to improve processes and product performanceRun test procedures, collect data and complete technical documentationMaintain high standards of quality, accuracy and outputSkills & Experience Experience in electrical and mechanical assembly within a manufacturing environmentAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematicsExperience working with R&D or Manufacturing Engineering teamsStrong attention to detail and inspection skillsExperience running test procedures and documenting resultsThe Person Positive, proactive and "can-do" attitudeStrong attention to detail and pride in qualityAble to work independently and as part of a teamGood communication and collaboration skillsFlexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environmentWhy Apply?
