We are currently seeking experienced and reliable Class 2 Refuse Drivers to join our clients dedicated waste and recycling services team. Key Responsibilities: * Drive and take full responsibility for an allocated refuse/recycling vehicle. * Perform daily vehicle checks and routine maintenance (oil, water) and ensure the vehicle is clean (using the wash bay). * Transport goods, equipment, and personnel safely. * Supervise the refuse crew and assist with loading and unloading as required. * Operate in-vehicle technology, accurately recording non-collections and reasons. * Collect waste and recyclables in line with route schedules and health & safety guidelines. * Ensure completion and return of all required paperwork to the supervisor daily. * Respond to unforeseen circumstances by adjusting routes as necessary. * Ensure safe and respectful waste loading and interaction with the public. * Collect assisted collections on designated days. * Report accidents, near misses, and any vehicle or property damage promptly. * Operate vehicle machinery safely and in accordance with regul...
