With start dates from June 2024 onward, our summer contracts are available throughout the summer months, allowing you the opportunity to earn a little extra while still enjoying the summer holidays. These flexible contracts, offering 15-23 hours are designed to perfectly to fit in with your lifestyle.
We are able to support teachers who are not local to Cambridge with accommodation (subject to availability).
Our EFL Teachers are welcomed into our friendly, professional English teaching team at Stafford House School, based centrally in the historic city of Cambridge.
You will teach general English classes, with the potential to teach exam classes as well. Our students vary in age from 14 to adult, and so we offer a great opportunity to teach at a range of levels. We also welcome experienced and newly qualified teachers, as we help to support your training and development.
In addition to our year-round Stafford House Language School programmes, we deliver English courses to Cambridge School of Visual and Performing Arts (CSVPA) students. CSVPA is one of the UK’s leading providers of Art & Design, Drama and Music pathway and degree programmes. There may be an option to teach on these courses.
Although this is a sessional contract, all teachers are welcomed equally, becoming part of the wider Stafford House team from day one.

What you need to become part of the Stafford House Teaching Team:
CELTA is essential for this role
DELTA or MA in TESOL is desirable
Degree or equivalent required
Teaching experience preferred but not essential
