Job Overview
We provide care services to older vulnerable people who depend on our support to enable them to remain in their own homes as long as possible. Some need help with washing and dressing, some need help with meals and medication, and some just need companionship. You will assist with everyday tasks which most people do naturally. Our service users love their carers, and our carers know that their support is valued and appreciated.
Main Work Pattern
We offer a main work pattern based on a rolling shift pattern of 7 days per fortnight, e.g.,
Week 1: Monday, Thursday, Friday
Week 2: Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday
The workdays of week 1 & week 2 are non-negotiable.
Shift Patterns
Late shift: 4 pm till 11 pm
Bank Work
With bank work, as long as you work 2 weekends a month or 6 shifts a month, you will stay on the bank register. You can work any shift—early, late, or full-time. You don’t need to work the minimum hours; you can work as much as you like, subject to shift availability. You will provide your manager with your availability for the upcoming 2 weeks, and if shifts are available, you will be scheduled accordingly. This arrangement is ideal for people with children or other commitments who cannot commit to a standard shift pattern.
