This is a great opportunity to work within one of the UK's leading defence organisations. This role is based in Warton on a hybrid basis, 3 days in the office per week.
Knowledge
* An understanding of emerging cyber requirements and cyber security threats.
* A broad and comprehensive technical knowledge of IT infrastructure and technologies (with OT knowledge being an additional benefit).
* Excellent understanding of government and industry standard security policy, standards and best practice guidance.
* Experience of working in an IT function and relevant field.
Skills
* Experience defining and deploying cyber risk management strategies and assessment methodologies.
* Experience in the management and delivery of key cyber security projects.
* Experience of collaborating for success with key business stakeholders.
* Experience managing, controlling and reporting project deliverables to senior management audiences.
* Experience in people management.
Qualifications
* Educated to degree level or equivalent worked experience preferably in a related discipline.
Desirable
* Professional IT Security qualification such as Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) / Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP).
