Overview
We're looking for Female Care Assistants in the Penrhyndeudraeth area to support vulnerable people with varying needs, including learning disabilities, complex needs, and mental health conditions.
Locations
Penrhyndeudraeth, Porthmadog, Harlech, and Blaenau Ffestiniog.
Responsibilities
Provide person‑centred care and support, including personal care tasks, daily living assistance, and companionship. Encourage independence and facilitate social networking. Accompany individuals to holidays and social events when necessary.
Shift Patterns
24‑hour block shifts, days or nights, with flexibility in days worked. Weekend work is essential. Both drivers and non‑drivers are considered.
Training and Progression
* No prior experience required; full training is provided.
* Opportunity to complete either NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Social Care through work‑based learning.
* Must achieve a recognised Level 2 or 3 qualification within the first 3 years.
* In Wales, all social care staff must register with Social Care Wales (SCW), incurring an annual fee.
