Development Manager, London
The Company
A Property Development business with a focus on mixed use regeneration projects in the South. They have an excellent pipeline of projects ranging from c.£80m-£300m GDV and a great culture with a highly effective close knit team.
The Role
* Support and assist Development Directors and Regional Director in managing existing projects to bring about delivery in accordance with Company requirements.
* Identify, appraise, secure and deliver suitable development opportunities having regard throughout to Company policy and procedures
* Project Delivery: Secure approvals where necessary to take a project forward.
* Ensure expenditure is within given limits approved by the Company by reference to the Company approval system and procedures.
* Working alongside internal Senior Development Manager or Development Director and Project Managers, to assume responsibility for the achievement of milestones on projects across the southern portfolio. This may include some or all of securing planning and other statutory consents, finance, lettings and disposals and long term estate management arrangements, ensuring projects are viable and deliverable at all times.
* Assist with maintaining scheme development appraisals and programmes and regularly review inputs and outputs for purposes of project management and company business planning.
The Person
* Experience in a Development Manager's role as a principal or an equivalent position in a development consultancy environment.
* Able to demonstrate a successful track record in contributing to the delivery of complex projects – specific involvement with residential and/or commercial lead mixed-use developments is preferred.
* Preferred MRICS
* Good verbal and written communication skills
