Job Description
A globally established medical aesthetics company with direct operations across more than 70 international markets is appointing a Chief Medical and Scientific Officer to lead medical, clinical and regulatory strategy across a diversified portfolio of injectable and device technologies.
Following sustained international expansion and active pipeline growth, the Board is consolidating global scientific leadership at executive level to strengthen regulatory alignment, accelerate evidence generation and shape the next phase of innovation and value creation.
Key Responsibilities
* Define and lead the global medical and scientific strategy aligned to corporate growth and pipeline priorities
* Act as the ultimate executive authority on all medical, clinical and scientific matters across the organisation
* Provide strategic leadership of the innovation and R&D portfolio from concept through global commercialisation
* Own global clinical development and evidence generation strategy, including pivotal studies and real world programmes
* Hold executive accountability for global regulatory strategy, authority engagement and inspection readiness across all major markets
* Ensure scientific integrity of all product claims, labelling, medical communications and promotional substantiation
* Lead global Medical Affairs, including KOL strategy, advisory boards and medical education while preserving medical independence
* Oversee pharmacovigilance, post market surveillance and ongoing product safety governance
* Build and lead high performing global teams across Medical, Clinical, Regulatory and R&D with clear governance and decision rights
* Advise the Board on pipeline risk, portfolio prioritisation, innovation direction and long term scientific strategy
Candidate Profile
* Senior executive leadership experience within medical aesthetics
* Demonstrated accountability for multiple global product approvals and launches across United States and European regulatory systems
* Deep technical understanding of aesthetic products, including lifecycle strategy and safety governance
* Experience operating within internationally scaling, growth oriented organisations
* MD or PhD in a relevant medical or scientific discipline strongly preferred
