Payroll Specialist York | Up to £35,000 This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established organisation in a Payroll Specialist role offering both ownership and exposure across payroll and systems. Working within a central support function, you’ll take responsibility for delivering accurate and compliant payroll while supporting improvements to systems and processes. The role combines hands-on payroll delivery with involvement in wider people systems and data, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both operational work and continuous improvement. The Opportunity You’ll join a collaborative team responsible for payroll and people systems across a multi-site organisation. This role plays a key part in ensuring payroll is delivered accurately and on time, while also supporting system improvements, reporting and data integrity. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external providers to maintain smooth payroll operations and strong compliance. There is also scope to contribute to broader improvements in systems, reporting and processes.
