Job Title: Full Stack Engineer – AI & Creative Systems Location: Hybrid (UK) Duration: Full-time Start Date: ASAP Experience: 5 years Salary: DOE About Particle6 Particle6 is an award-winning creative production company blending boundary-pushing storytelling with cutting-edge AI. From original TV series and documentaries to brand campaigns and immersive content, we use the latest AI tools to enhance the creative process across broadcast and commercial work. About the Role We're looking for a Full Stack Engineer who enjoys moving quickly, experimenting freely, and turning ambitious ideas into robust, production-ready systems. Your early focus will be supporting our agentic rollout using tools like Claude Code, developing practical systems that help teams interact with and manage AI assistants effectively. Alongside this, you'll drive R&D to build internal tools that optimise video production workflows — identifying bottlenecks, designing solutions, and building systems that make our processes faster, smarter and more scalable. More broadly, you'll build the technical foundations behind Particle6's AI production workflows — spanning internal tools, automation systems, experimental prototypes and live production environments. You'll work closely with producers, creatives and AI technologists to translate real operational needs into practical engineering solutions. This is a highly autonomous role with real ownership. We care less about enforcing a fixed stack and more about finding the right solution for the problem. What You'll Be Building ● Internal tooling and automations to optimise video production workflows across the company ● AI automation systems spanning creative operations, content pipelines and day-to-day team workflows ● Integrations with AI platforms and third-party services, turning promising experiments into stable, scalable pipelines ● Rapid prototypes that help test, validate and evolve new ideas and production methods ● Systems built and iterated using Claude Code, with hands-on debugging, security review and architectural ownership — ensuring AI-generated code meets production-grade standards before deployment What You'll Be Doing ● Designing, building and maintaining full-stack systems that support AI-powered production workflows ● Using Claude Code and other AI-assisted development tools as a core part of your day-to-day engineering process ● Reviewing, debugging and stress-testing code produced with Claude Code and other AI-assisted tools, with a sharp eye for security vulnerabilities, edge cases and production readiness ● Driving R&D efforts to develop internal tools that improve the speed, reliability and quality of video production workflows ● Building and maintaining AI automations across the company, identifying opportunities to reduce manual effort and improve consistency ● Owning projects end-to-end, from early technical design through to deployment and iteration ● Collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate creative and operational needs into usable technical systems ● Helping shape internal engineering best practice as our AI workflows evolve This Might Be Right for You If You ● Have 5 years' experience building and shipping full-stack products ● Are comfortable owning systems end-to-end and working confidently across the stack ● Have hands-on experience with AI/LLM integrations — not just curiosity, but something shipped ● Are familiar with or excited by AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code or Cursor ● Have a strong eye for security, code quality, and production readiness — especially when working with AI-generated code ● Enjoy ambiguity, rapid iteration and solving real-world problems practically ● Are proactive about spotting issues, proposing improvements, and building without waiting for perfect specs ● Have exposure to video, media pipelines, or creative tooling — a bonus, not a requirement Why You'll Love It ● You'll directly shape how a leading creative production company uses AI to transform its workflows and output ● Your work will have immediate, visible impact on real production processes — not theoretical systems ● You'll have genuine autonomy, creative freedom, and room to experiment ● You'll work on novel systems with an ambitious, technically curious team at the frontier of AI-powered production For questions or accessible adjustments to the application process, please contact hiring@particle6.com
